Hi,
I am wondering if edible food waxes are really "safe" to consume from a cardiovascular perspective. Could they be similar to or worse than trans fats, or are they like indigestible fiber and just pass through safely? When I scrape apples it looks like a lot peels off. And when I use my lemon press the steel press gets coated from the peel and I can't get the wax off of it easily.
Thanks.
