For those interested, here is some research information on the topic of
nigella sativa, also (confusingly) know by various other names such as black caraway. I know it as a Mid-Eastern culinary spice. I call it charnuska, but basically the botanical name is what you want to look for.
Health claims for this plant appear to be a mix of legitimate and not so very.
Advertising claims are, well -advertising claims so
buyer be wary.
