I have been WFPB eating for 18 months but am steadily gaining weight so need to change my approach. Looking forward to a positive future:)

I have read the orientation and would like to join the group. I am an endurance runner but have battled to get the last bit of extra weight off and as i get older it is becoming even harder. It is very important to ensure i have enough energy for my training which includes 5 running sessions and 3 strength training session a week and keep the weight off. Im plant based but as we know, it is not necessarily healthy :-0 I need to satisfy my hunger which is my down fall.

Hi, I hope I'm doing this right...I completed the three parts of the orientation. I will weigh myself when I wake up for the day. It's 3:13am and haven't slept yet!

I have multiple health conditions and I am sick of being overweight so I planned on making the switch today, October 1st.

Kia ora katoa. Hi everyone.
I was part of this group in April-May and had wonderful success, losing over 15 pounds. But then the Southern Hemisphere winter came, the second wave of Covid struck, with going back into shutdown and I really struggled to cope. I was virtually living on toasted egg sandwiches and coffee with no exercise. I've gaind 6 pounds and my bp is up. Spring is a time for new beginnings and I want to get back to living healthy. I know the accountability with this group will help keep me focused.

I've been reading through some of the Sept 2020 recent posts and am so motivated to get started today. I still have to go shopping to stock the refrigerator and batch cook some potatoes, rice and veggie soup. :-D

Not sure when we check in with weight, but I thought I'd go ahead and give mine -- 221.8. I don't usually eat breakfast because I'm not hungry in the morning. I had mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli around 11:45 today. I'm going to make the McDougall veggie soup that I just received in my email. Hope everyone is doing well on day 1

I would like to be included in the October group. I finished September strong but had a major hiccup this week, so looking forward to getting back on track starting this next weigh in!

Hello!
I have been following MWL for two weeks and would like to be added to this group! It is the first time I have done an online group like this so I'm navigating my way around.
I am 71 and have always been active but obese. I had an MRI for hip pain and was told I needed a hip replacement for a labral tear. I'm not bone on bone and don't want surgery so decided to get healthy and lose weight. After reading about Esther Loveridge who lost 132 pounds and avoided double knee replacement on this program, I've decided to give it a go! This is a totally different way of eating for me but I'm excited since I've never liked animal proteins. My goal is to have a normal BMI (24). My BMI is currently 36. Thank you for this opportunity!
