MWL Works!

Postby Tatersmom » Mon Mar 30, 2009 9:06 am

I rarely have enough time to post on here so I didn't join the weekly weigh-in group but I started the program on March 1st at 214 lbs and 30 days later I am down to 196. That's 18 pounds lost in one month! Also, my blood pressure at the beginning of the month was about 148/90 and its now 116/68. At the start of the month I also took measurements of my calves, thighs, biceps, waist, hips and bust...and when I re-measured today, the numbers show that I've visibly lost weight in every area (except my bust--but who can complain about that, haha).
I have complied with the program faithfully except for one saturday where I had 1 fat-free corn tortilla with my chili, and about 3 bites of whole wheat bread another night. I haven't started an exercise program yet (I occasionally will take a walk with my boyfriend when the weather is nice, but nothing more) so it's simply the diet....and I'm stickin' to it! :)

Congrats! I just bought the book and am planning on really working the plan for the next two months. I read the book some time ago from the library so I think having it on hand will be a big help.

You are such an inspiration! Keep up the good work (and maybe it will rub off on me!). :D

You are a perfect poster Mom for the program. Way to go, and it's great you are enjoying it. It is simple if you don't complicate things.
