After being trying to do the regular McDougall program, I realize I need to stick to MWL in order to lose weight. I need the discipline it offers. So I am recomitting to MWL. It's tough, but I was a military wife for 21 years and it was tough too, so I know I can do this.

You can do it, Dale! Maybe you should join the MWL challenge that just started. That way you'll have that extra support. And you can always look forward to incorporating some of the principles of the regular plan once you reach you goal weight or get close to it. That was always motivation for me.

Hi Dale,
I’m getting ready to start MWL too and I’ll be posting on the MWL challenge thread. Look forward to chatting with you about the program. Best wishes.

I did it - you can too! I was overweight/obese all my life until 14 years ago and with MWL I now weigh about 110 pounds less and have kep it off.
