do any of you find that brussel sprouts and/or other cruciferous vegetables give you pain in the lower bowel ?maybe i need to cook the brussel sprouts for a lot longer.

I always cook mine well--I carmelize them by roasting--but they still give me a lot of gas. Pain only if I overdose.
Not a pretty thing, if you're trapped indoors with guests for a few days.

hehe boy indeed. cooking well helps. I also don't eat a ton of them at the same sitting.
