I had weight loss surgery less than a year ago. I am just wanting to get healthy and I have heard good things about this program. My doctors are always pushing for protein and they don't recommend plant based. If someone would just let me know what I should do?

most aim for around 10% of total calories in protein.

WFPB has lots of it and if you want to make sure legumes on a regular.

No reported cases of a lack protein in none starvation people

Dr Garth Davis is an acclaimed bariatric surgeon out of Texas "The Davis Clinic". He advocates a plant based diet for all his patients post surgery. He wrote a bestseller "Proteinaholic" on America's obsession with protein and how it is killing us. He also has a great facebook page with lots of info.

Here is a talk he gave at one of Dr. McDougall's Advanced Study Week ends. He is your expert in weight loss surgery and recovery. As well as of course, Dr. McDougall.

Good luck with your recovery to health!
