My old job had a really nice gym so I didn't have to get a membership. I've been out for about 6 weeks. Trying to exercise at home just doesn't cut it for me.
Went out and got a membership today. I've done some weight training and twenty minutes of running.
I think I'm going to stick with weights, exercise bike, and arc trainer until I get into a lower bmi (lower normal range) just to keep the stress of my joints.
I just need the exercise. Something to make me feel alive.

Great!
I know work out at home can be harder than leaving the house to go to the gym. I also go to the gym for some weight training, but try to do the cardio kind of exercise outside to get some fresh air as well.

It's easier for me to strength train at a gym too. More room, better selection of equipment, much greater variety possible in workouts. Left on my own, I'd rather go for a run or a ride than do strength work.
