When did play turn into work?

Postby GlennR » Mon Feb 27, 2017 6:53 pm

I'd like to try and turn back the clock on my attitude to where activity and eating were just part of life. Biking, playing tennis, just walking instead of taking a car were all normal and natural and not a burden. Now I have formalized my exercise, I plan every meal and I'm almost never spontaneous.

Today, with the help of a little winter sunshine I hopped on my push scooter and just enjoyed myself. I had no goal, no recording of my activity to deal with and it was great. I think that learning a just do it attitude will pay dividends. I'd like to stop WORKing out and just play instead.
