Race -37 days.
I ran today, just 4km on the beach with howling rain pounding into my face on the way out...it was behind me coming back though which was much better!
The feet stood up to it reasonably well, and I hope to go up the hill tomorrow, even if not very far. My big foot appointment is Monday, only 2 days now, so I should have more information about it and what I can expect it to do then.
I haven’t needed special running fuel this week, but as I was building up my distances I was using mostly dried fruit, dates, home dried apple rings etc. my water has a splash of orange juice in it, and if it’s hot or I am out more than 2 hours also a tiny pinch of sea salt.
And my favourite post run meal at the moment is mushrooms on toast! I have no idea why but they are tasting so good to me right now!
