Hi Jeff,
I know flax seeds need to be ground to absorb nutrients, what about chia seeds?

You don't have to grind chia seeds
However, if you look at the comparison I did in one of the thread, flax wins on every level.

I generally use flaxseeds because of that and because they are typically much cheaper than chia seeds. I recently got a couple lbs. of chia seeds at a great price and I just wanted to make sure it was all right to eat them without grinding them. It is also nice to try seeds with a different taste and texture.
