Actual intakes of water-soluble nutrients in soaked rice

Jeff,

If people are cooking their rice like pasta, or even overnight-soaking the rice before doing so, is this drastically affecting effective intakes of the water-soluble nutrients from the rice? I'm wondering if this is something to consider for someone for whom rice is a significant proportion of their food (and perhaps another reason to try to replace it more often with other grains).
