Blueberries causing Vit B-6 deficiencies?

Postby geo » Sun Mar 25, 2018 6:25 am

OK never heard of this before but was listening to a (supposedly) respected Doctor on the radio and he was talking about excessive eating of blue berries (like a quart a day) causing Vit B-6 deficiencies due to malabsorption. I did a quick google search and found nothing. It sounds kind of crazy to me, but wanted to know if theres any truth behind it? Obviously his advise was moderation in everything

I think you know my position on this.

Ignore all breaking health news.

Now, if you can find a decent study that has been replicated and has other supporting evidence, then you may have something to begin to look into it.

Otherwise, carry on!
