So creative folks, I want to make a white flour and masa tortillas. I want a flexible tortilla that stays together fresh and after freezing to reheat. I cant find any recipes for that on the web for a fat free tortilla.
Unless you have a better idea for me.
I dont want but to make them in one big batch. Flexible and stays together is everything. Corn tortillas never do.
Ideas of how to try on the small scale of using this much of this or that. Add a teensy bit of baking powder? Flax seed gel? I will try out your recipes and when there is something that works great I will post what worked.
So please dream for me or find me a recipe!
ps I forgot the most important point, I want to make it BIG like a white flour tortilla. Am I asking the impossible?
Thanks ya'll

I do not have problems with corn tortillas falling apart. Do you warm them before using? I use tongs and heat them over the stove flame. They only fall part if they get too moist.

I'm just wondering why you want it to be a white flour tortilla?

A quick Google search turns up this:
https://pinaenlacocina.com/flour-corn-t ... t-of-both/Obviously, skip the oil. You might need to increase the water to compensate. Time to get in the kitchen and experiment. Good luck!

You found it yay! but with fat. So 2 1/2 cups water 1/2 cup lard. So yup I will try with all water and try and try again, or maybe first time is a charm!
Thank you very much!
