nope...hurts a bit today. Think it is stress and dampness. I am not used to humidity and felt terrible when I was in Florida. It is cold and damp here right now....ugh! :D

today was pretty good...was standing up most of the day! My neck hurts when I sit down!

Made Robin Robertsons Marinara Sauce tonite...and already added the mushrooms also like Becky did. I love her blog...that book is sooooooo big I have a hard time deciding what to make so I go by her recommendations! It's a bible of vegan recipes...leave out the oil.

Now on the other hand I ordered Colleens Color Me Vegan and when we get back from this camping trip in Feb. I will resell it on Amazon. Just too much oil and Earth Balance in the recipes and I thought since she was a McD cook at the weekends it would be good with their recommendations. Very disappointed in it but I can't put it for sale till I am back here to mail it out. :D

...Becky.....who also lives in an rv is blogging about that book!!!! She on the forum with 1000 Vegan Recipes....

Robin Robertson's is an awesome book. I ordered it and then wrote to her and she answered me in 15 minutes. I asked her about the oil, she said leave it out except for baked goods but then I don't do those much and I know substitutes anyway!!!! Made wheat balls from Vegan on the Cheap tonite to use with the Marinara Sauce. Will never buy pasta sauce again!!!!!

Nancy, I subscribe to Prevention Magazine. The lastest issue Feb 2011) has an article that has me thinking about you with regard to your neck pain. The article states that chronic neck pain can be an indicator of heart issues, meaning a heart attack. Women's heart episodes are not always of the classic chest and arm pain sypmtoms. In addition, the nausea can also be an indicator.

I just wanted to put this out there in case it's something you want to investigate.

Thanks Nomikins...
I don't have those type of symptoms..I had the classic womens symtoms back before my bypass so I am very familiar with them!
I know what caused the stomach pain, the pain pills messed me up. I shouldn't have taken them so close together. I even had to stop taking baby aspirin cause it tore up my stomach.
I think it is more related to my degenerative disk disease and scoliosis. As long as I am standing and moving around, it is fine. It happens when I sit...and I can hear the calcium or bones making cracking sounds when I do neck exercises. Lol...have to keep moving! At least the neck is better than the sciatica I used to have and I had to use a walker!!! :D

well my neck feels 80% better today...and the humidity is much lower! That may have something to do with it. I was in pain for a week while I was in Florida at my daughters house! I just have to keep ruling things out and focusing on what causes it! lol!!! :D

the humidity is 24% tonite and my neck is much better so I think that is what it is! Our weather sensor guy has a lightweight jacket and long pants on tonite with a darn umbrella...so maybe it is going up again.... :(
oh and I set out the solar oven the other day and the wind came up and blew it over and now I have to fix it. Didn't break the glass but the screws pulled out and the reflectors bent, I managed to fix one of the screws but need some wood filler to put the same screw into it! Another day in paradise, huh?

Humidity can really take a toll. Glad it's down and so is the pain. :-)
