I LOVE love love your new tagline! That has been my theme song for a while now. I didn't realize it was first on the Polka Party album, it's on the Food Album too, which is filled with other hilarious food related stuff. Of course! My favorite would have to be Spuds, but also love "Spam".
It IS the food! :unibrow:

Thanks so much for the info on the medication, Kirk. I'm sorry you and your wife are caught in the insurance mess. I wish we had single payer insurance - that all were covered and could choose that plan or their own, but everyone had complete coverage for wellness and catastrophic care.

It's so inspiring to read about your journey, Kirk. You'll be skiing in Squaw Valley before you know it! :D

Hi Kirk,

I’m glad you checked in with us. Glad to hear Jeanette is doing well on McDougall.

I can really relate to your determination to stick to eating healthy despite the pain in your arm. I find chronic pain is a constant reminder of why I need to stay the course. Wishing you pain relief and peace of mind.

How did you do on your weigh-in today?

June 21, 2009 - 488 (-31 from Dec. 2007 lifetime high)
June 28 - 488 (unchanged due to quitting 3 daily doses of diuretics)

July 5 - 485 ( -3 )
July 12 - 478 ( -7 )
July 19 - 476 ( -2 )

Another few months and this pain will be gone, and in that time I will have lost plenty more weight!

Most Excellent Kirk! You are off to a great start. 12 pounds in just 3 weeks. :)
