Postby noodle » Mon Oct 23, 2006 11:31 am

Hi everyone. I'm new but thought I'd jump in if you don't mind.

Breakfast : Cantalope, some grapes, and half a peach

Snack : Oatmeal with raisens

Lunch : Corn, blackeye peas, and brussel sprouts steamed with some
marinara sauce on top.

Dinner : Salad and baked potato

Not as exciting or interesting as what I've been seeing here. Hopefully I'll be getting alot of great ideas! :-D

Peach, that sounds great to me! I bought some peaches this week and they are awful, all mealy and dry. I hope yours are nicer!

I get ideas from what other people are eating. Black eyed peas, now that's something we haven't had for a while. My husband likes them, and I think I might make some today. Either that or find a recipe for red beans and rice.

OK, I'm just starting. But I got SOOOOOOOO hungry before lunch today that I went home and pigged out. boo hoo :( need to be more prepared with snacks tomorrow!

BF:
Shredded wheat with soymilk/water and raspberries

Lunch:
10 oz stewed winter veggies and red lentils
2 peices of bread with (eek!) margerine and jelly
1 bowl of shredded wheat with soymilk, raspberries and walnuts
1 apple

(told ya)

Dinner:
Crockpot spanish rice (from fatfreevegan.com, but I'm using barley) and crockpot black beans with steamed green beans and carrots. YUM! At least I didn't turn one slip up into a horrible day.
