Sunny, can you tell me about your Gazelle?

Postby Anne » Fri Oct 27, 2006 9:08 am

Sunny, can you tell me about your Gazelle? I really enjoy elliptical trainers when I can use them, but they are so expensive! The Gazelle is the lowest price, but I was afraid that I'd break it since I weigh 220.

I also wondered, since the Gazelle is so different in design, if it is really an elliptical trainer or more like a Nordic Track.

It seems like you are enjoying Gazelle - any advice?

Long hike to and from our local General Store/gas station. We live in a rural area so when I say "long hike", I really mean it. :D

50 minutes at the gym. I'm up to 13 minutes on the ArcTrainer (whew - that thing kicks my hiney!) The rest of the time was free weights for upper body and a few machines for lower body.

Good for you on the Arc trainer~ I can only do 5 minutes. It really strains my legs....But, hoping to build up to 20 min. Like it better than the eliptical.

Hoping to get out in the sunshine and walk 30 minutes. (We had 2 rainy days.)
Grateful

Me too! I like the Arc trainer better than the elliptical; is it that fun/funky motion, or what? I try to figure it out everytime on the thing. I keep thinking of those glutes that I hope will one day be mine - it sure feels like they ought to be beautiful! To be fair, the elliptical is a good (sustained) cardio for me - I can do an hour on it but it still doesn't feel like the work out I get on the Arc trainer. I like the idea of getting to 20 minutes on the Arc trainer - my new goal!
