B: Oatmeal Masa Porridge; banana
L: Colcannon; veggie sticks
D: Pumpkin or black bean soup (I haven't decided which yet); rice; steamed veggies

JanTz, you mentioned having some unsweetened dates. I was in the grocery store this morning and saw some in the produce section. I have never had them before, but would be interested in trying them out. Do you just eat them whole? Do you chop them up and include them with other ingredients? Please tell me more. Thanks for your help.

b: :) banana and cinamon/raisin sorghum flour muffin, pomegranate acai juice and "bad stuff" (coffee :x )

l: :-) lentil stew, (lentils[duh], taters, carrots, celery, cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, chick*n-style seasoning from Healing Heart recipe site), 'nother muffin (more bad stuff)

s: :-P pupusas and guacamole, "Spanish" rice (rice and tomatoes, peppers, onions, carrots, cumin, coriander, garlic, hot stuff--more hot stuff), blueberry sorghum flour muffin (yep...more bad stuff--coffee addict here! )

No snacks between the meals...finding my body likes 3 squares a day, rather than continuous food intake all day long...UNBELIEVABLE...but TRUE!!! It's a yin/yang thing...get hungry / get full, as opposed to snarf all day and never get truly hungry, OR full.

Now I realize that you guys who post in the morning plan your meals, I can do that! I hope it will help with the hunger I am experiencing and the late night eating.

Today is my first day of 100% McDougall. After reading Scott's Star McDougall page, I am determined to do it 100% this time -- something I can't honestly say I've ever tried. Wish me luck!

Snack:
Carrot sticks

Lunch:

Snack:
Apple

Dinner:
Three Soul Sister's Soup from the http://vegancookalong.blogspot.com this week. I'll make is sans the oil. :)

ReneeK: I bought Sunsweet California Pitted Dates. I just put 5 or 6 of them in the little container that had the apple slices in it. I will eat them whole, as finger food along with the apple. Like any dried fruit, they are higher in calories than a fresh fruit, so I use them moderately.
