Thyroid, McDougall, and weightloss

Does anyone have thyroid problems and need to lose weight? Has McDougalling helped you with trying to lose weight with being hypothyroid? Do you find it easier to lose weight on the weightlos program or the regular McDougal program? :crybaby:

I have been hypothyroid since 8/92 and while it is hard to lose weight, it isn't impossible. I believe the key is to eat properly (very lowfat vegan), exercise regularly, and take your thyroid meds as prescribed. Sometimes I do the regular McDougall program and if I find it hard to lose, I'll switch over to the MWL program and up my exercise.

Everyone's different, so you just have to experiment, but the above works for me.
