Histamine intolerance

Postby Sabine » Sat Sep 10, 2022 7:01 am

I would be so interested in Dr. McDougall's view on Histamine intolerance.

Is eating low-Histamine for life- or is complete healing possible on a high starch, no oil, vegan diet?

Hi. Dr. Will Bulsiewicz talks about it in Fiber Fueled cookbook I think. Also check out some of his interviews on youtube. Basically he says he restricts people and then helps them add foods back in so the restriction isn't forever. I think I may have this after a ton of reading and symptoms. So I limit some stuff and sprout peas per his recommendation for the dao which helps deal with histamine that is basically in everything to some degree. But I don't do a drastic restriction because well I just won't unless I was in more distress.
