Dr Appointment

Postby Bkworm » Wed Mar 13, 2024 3:50 pm

Hello everyone,

I have an appointment with a hematologist next week. I have never seen a hematologist before and don't know anyone else who has either. I have low WBCs. I don't know what to expect. What type of questions will be asked? What type of tests might be suggested?
What type of questions should I ask? What should I tell the doctor about the WFPB lifestyle? I

I started this way of lifestyle to control RA. I have now eaten this way for 11 years and taken no medications for RA. I don't feel ill in anyway. Having controlled the RA with this lifestyle for 11 years, I would think my inflammation levels are low just from this way of eating. When the RA was diagnosed, my CRP score was sky high. The second time it was tested, the CRP score was in the lower normal range and the only thing that changed was my diet.

Any advice of what I should do or ask, etc., would be appreciated.
Thank you.
