Hi, I just saw your reply post. Sorry for the delay. Your description of your symptoms sounds like the way Afib acts.
I was diagnosed while having an EKG. I didn't even know I was fibrillating. Some folks have Afib, but arnt aware. No symptoms.
I think I recall maybe 3 times over past years this sensation. It felt like my heart "stumbled". Boom Boom. Then nothing else.
I was diagnosed 1/17/22. I am now on Blood Thinners and a medication to keep my heart rate down should my heart fibrillate hard. This all happened when I had Covid. It could have been caused by Covid or I already had it and Covid triggered it. You definately should have it checked because I have learned that it has high risk of stroke. More than other heart problems. Fibrillation causes heart to leave behind some blood, because its not pumping correctly. This blood could pool and cause a clot. The clot could break off and go to the brain causing a stroke. I am a high risk because I am female and over 75. The cardiologist put a heart monitor on me to see if I am fibrillating any more. Good luck, have it checked.
