I have a question regarding portions. I've been told by a young woman that "Eating a large volume of food will absolutely stall weight loss even if you are oil free and nut free! I have been working with people for years and see it time and time again...large quantities of food stalling weight loss because there is this false idea that if it is WFPB oil and nut free you can eat all you want but that just is not the case for most people." She also advocates that you cannot "crowd" your eating into the night, as your body is "winding down" and you can't lose weight when you eat your calories late in the day.

I thought eating without oil or nuts, WFPB, I didn't have to worry about portion control or eating most of my calories in the late afternoon. (I am eating 1450-1660 calories a day.)

OK, nothing to write home about, but at least I can hope the month of gaining every week is over. I'm down 4 tenths:

5/28/2015 214.9
6/4/2015 214.5(-0.4)

Congratulations to all US losers! ( That sounds better.)

Jeepsterhound, what's up with the, "Slow, plodding,..." when you're posting over a pound loss every week? I'd like a little of that slow plodding myself.

Down a pound this week.

Mark, I'm thrilled with a pound a week, but it's not very exciting. I was bogged down a little the last few weeks, but I'm back to my 1 pound.

After my first weigh-in for the challenge, I am down -0.6, and that makes me pretty happy.

This has been a real challenge for me. Not the food, but the fact that I am breaking free of the weighing, measuring and dare I say, counting WW points for everything I eat. I have been trying to get rid of the last stubborn 10 pounds (in reality I would like to lose 20) and getting no where,

I feel like I am starting to get a new outlook about food, at least by baby steps.
