Welcome back LadyM!! Great loss for the week.

Great job everyone! For those of us who have compliance issues, I challenge for this last week in August NO EXCUSES! Not one bite of any off plan food, even a little oil! No matter MWL or regular starch solution, sometimes we make small exceptions thinking they are small, but at the end of the week, those small exceptions add up. And sometimes depending on many exceptions made that week, they sure can add up to a lot. And besides the scale, it harms the insides of our bodies. Causes inflammation and harms our hearts. So challenge yourself to absolutely nothing off plan, not even a bite!

I am up 2.5 pounds.
I was AWOL for a few weeks. I went to visit family and was about 90% compliant, but ate a lot. I'm sure it will come off quickly.

Last week the scale showed 0 change and I was extremely busy so I didn't check in.

This week 93.9 kg (207 pounds), which makes -1.5 pound for this week.

Thought I posted this yesterday, but maybe I didn't hit, "Submit." I'm up 0.9:

8/20/2015 208.9
8/27/2015 209.8 (+0.9)

I have an idea of what might have caused it and will work on it this week. It continues to be very hard won gains as I head down the 20s in BMI. I may need to shake things up.

Anyway, sorry to raise the totals. I'll try to work harder this week.

Down another 3.6 lbs. :eek: I'll take it.

Hi everyone - I'm a newb, both to this thread and to this plan. I do know I need accountability to stick, though, especially since I have been a lifetime "meatatarian" and low carber until this past Tuesday. That WOE has stopped working with weight loss, and I'm afraid has damaged my health in many ways (painful joints, high blood pressure for a year now - I'm 49 - and very weight loss resistant even at a huge calorie deficit).

I'm kind of amazed that I haven't had too much trouble laying off the meat so far, though I'm sure it's partly because I LOVE potatoes and have been denied them because they're not low carb.

Since Tuesday, I've lost about 1.5 lbs. I'll give a starting weight when I feel more comfortable and have settled in a little more. ;)

I didnt weigh in obviously, cause somehow I forgot it was Saturday. Not sure exactly how since normally I wake at 530am and I slept till 730! The horses werent happy with me! Oh well.
