Hi - has anyone ever used the Vega mixes? They are 100% Vegan. They are those powders you mix into smoothies to replace a meal. Is that MWL approved? Just curious

never heard of it, but no it's not MWL. It's processed. Really Mcd wants you to eat your fruit (2 of them) on MWL not make smoothies.

I tried it once at a Vegfest. It was horrible tasting. Just my .02.

Mr. Doodlepunk would call that a Food-Like Substance. Not to be mistaken for real, actual food. :-)

I Vega and if you mix with Vanialla flavoured Rice Milk it is a meal subsitute. 100% Vegan...I use when I'm not hungry but know I need to eat.

I use it every work day morning, otherwise I don't eat till lunch.

I just mix two scoops with water. I try not to smell it as I'm drinking because I think the chocolate one tastes better than it smells! :-)

saw it in Sprouts the other day...

After watching the vsh.org videos on Brendan Brazier, I noticed the powder in the store the other day...sorta pricey! I guess it is a food-like substance but it looked intriguing...
what concerned me was the iron in it..don't usually take a vitamin with iron in it anymore....
