Hello, can anyone tell me how to add photos onto my posts? Ideally using an iPhone if at all possible!

Clearly still haven’t worked it out. Would love to post images in the main body rather than just link it.

The image has to be posted online at a photo sharing site like flixster or imger.

Then you need the direct URL of the photo and it needs to end in jpeg, jpg, ping or most any other photo file.

Then you post the link here, and then put the IMG code on it. [img]imageurl[/img]

For example,

This is an image i have posted at Imgur

https://i.imgur.com/ADYj3FV.jpg

If you click on it, you will see it.

If I put the IMG code on each end, it will look like this (i put an extra three periods after the jpg so it doesnt post and you can see it)

[img]https://i.imgur.com/ADYj3FV.jpg…[/img]


Without the three periods, it posts as this pic

Thanks so much for your help. I’m a huge admirer of yours so having to ask for tech help from yourself is a bit mortifying! Ha!

When I copy the link there isn’t a .jpeg or equivalent suffix. I’m not quite sure how to get a link that contains that. The only thing that I can work out how to copy is formatted as the links above from Flickr.

Can I post images?
Yes, images can be shown in your posts. If the administrator has allowed attachments, you may be able to upload the image to the board. Otherwise, you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.example.com/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor images stored behind authentication mechanisms, e.g. hotmail or yahoo mailboxes, password protected sites, etc. To display the image use the BBCode [img] tag.


Maybe we can get someone else to help you who knows Flickr.
