I saw this today, and I love it. I feel like it can be applied to changing diet and lifestyle, too.

Well at 96 pages, I think it is time to close out this journal and start anew with Psoriatic Arthritis Journal 2.

Hi Nicole, I've psoriasis, particularly on my nails. I came across your article on Mcdougall website. I read somewhere that people with nail psoriasis have 80% chance of getting psoriasis. Did you have psoriasis on your nails before you got psoriasis? In your newsletter, you mentioned that you didn't include carrots and brown rice in your diet. What other foods you excluded from your diet? Do you include nightshades - tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, and peppers - in your diet? In place of milk, do you use alternate milks like oat milk or almond milk? I use nutritional yeast as substitute for cheese. Is it allowed on this diet?
Thanks,
Ashok

Hi @nicoles, I hope this reaches you. This forum is technology is super dated and I can't tag you so not sure how you'll get this message. As I type this, my ring finger is screaming bloody murder. I'm left-handed and it's my left ring finger, and that scares me, because I'm a writer and depend on my left hand for so much. I can't even type; the slightest pressure on it and I want to howl in pain. I never knew psoriatic arthritis can feel like you've actually broken the bones in your body. My finger is red, purple, bloated and cannot bend or straighten up.

Is there any way I can reach you to ask you some questions? I am not new to WFPB so there isn't a massive learning curve for me and thus my questions won't tax you. I just need a little bit of guidance (and I admit, hope) from a hero who overcame this wretched, horrifying and confounding disease.

SOS. May Day. Please help.
