Thinking about the chaffing issue. Have you tried corn starch. I used to use Gold Bond powder, but it has talc, which I read is a by product of asbestos, so do not think it is good. But corn starch can be soothing. Just a thought.
Glad you are not quitting. You inspire us more than you know. Thanks

You know the universe has its jokes. Ofcourse the week you really get exercising, go through not only the pain of the unused muscels, but the rest, and you show a gain. Oh, lets not forget you are being really tight on the eating this week, too.
\NOW is when sticking with it will pay off. Soon there WILL be a big loss. (I know it never comes soon enough, but it is coming)

Buy "Glide". You can get it at Walgreens, CVS, Target, etc. It helps reduce chafing. It can also be used on your heels if you get blisters from some shoes like I do. Anywhere skin rubs, it works. It goes on like stick deodorant.
Anything to help ease the pain a bit always helps. It costs less than $5.

There are several formulas...

aw, Kirk. What a freaking bummer. Makes you want to throw the scale out the front door, eh? right into traffic, where it can get run over, trommelled, bent, broken, and shattered. Never to rise again! ha!

but look at your current weight compared to where you started, and you know that weight fluctuates. It's a downward trend, overall. You're doing great!

Yep, that's it. The word body is so tiny on the label, I just read it as Glide.

Hey Kirk,

Just thought I'd stop in again and read some of my favorites before dinner. Hope you're feeling better now. Everyone is giving good advice and I'm sure you're following it anyway. Just keep at it and you'll see improvement before you know it! Happy new year :)

Just another thing to concider, rashes are sometimes caused by yeast. Being diabetic, I usually blame my sugars being high, when I get rashes. I tend to get them --hope this is not too much im.
in folds, as under my breasts. Has nothing to do with movement.
Of course you are already watching your food, so you probably are not having this as a problem. I am sure you will have the answer soon.

Hey

Not sure if you bought the body bugg yet or not. But just wanted to give my 2 cents. I had a body bugg and the only way it helped me was if I exercised but if I was sedentary it didn't help me lose weight--the online calculators calculated my bmr to be the same amount as the body bugg. I never lost weight using it. Maybe you will have a different experience. The best thing I see a body bugg for , is for people who exercise a lot-like people on the Biggest Loser. Because once you exercise for so long you get far away from your bmr and your not sure how much your burning, so it really helps you see how much you can eat. Not sure if it makes sense...Okay, let me know if you have questions. Mine broke after a year and I couldn't get it replaced. All the luck to you.

hey kirk

too bad about that rash, man. How freaking frustrating it must be.

and a thought that occurred to me was what about isometrics? or whatever the exercise is where you tighten your muscles really REALLY hard, as long as ??? I don't know the routine details...and then relax. Then tighten up REALLY hard again, etc. I mean, it might not burn as many calories, but would it build muscle...which does burn calories.

just a thought. I'm sorry you're going through this SO bad. Your courage and determination is inspiring though! you rock!
