Kirk,
I have had a similar rash, aggrevated by pedalling on an exercise bike. I can feel the pain just looking at your picture.

I met with an exercise guru who recommended getting pedal extenders for my recumbent bike. This puts your thighs further apart and avoids the chaffing. You'd have to look around but they're out there. It's possible to rig something up too. Anything that moves the pedal position out from the centerline.

This exercise expert also recommended a rowing machine, which was the direction I went, because there is no pain to my knees.

With the McDougall diet and daily rowing, I've been able to lose 75 pounds and no longer have chaffing. Good luck.

Nice to hear that you are still out there. What ever did we do before we had the internet to keep up with people? Imagine living in the days when moving away from home meant you would probably never see anyone there again.

Geez, I make a nice post about where to find BodyGlide and I come back and it goes into the Twilight zone somewhere.
So here it is again, just go to drugstore.com, and type in BodyGlide in the search bar. A nice list will come up with different sizes and some different formulas.
I trust drugstore, have been ordering from them for years and they have some nice hard to find products you cannot get locally.

How are you doing this weekend?

We have not been very faithful in our diets, but we are doing better. Hubby has really been sticking to mostly rice and veggies and soup, but he still loves meat so he baked some skinless boneless chicken breasts and added it to his rice and veggies.

While this is not on the plan, it is still better than what we used to do so I am not upset with it.
