Funny you should mention that. I had the opposite happen.

I broke my hack today because I started feeling stomach cramps in the middle of the day and then got hit with sudden diarrhea that lasted for about a half hour. I took a short nap afterwards and woke up feeling ok.

No idea what that was all about, but I did not feel like having anymore potatoes. I made some brown rice and broccoli for dinner. I'll give myself a rest tomorrow and try starting again on Monday... maybe. :|

Hey all, just checking in. Not much of a journal keeper, I guess. :o

But, I'm still here, ups-n-downs and on-n-offs included. I'm currently doing a mostly potato kind of thing. I feel much better if I get some greens or a bowl of oats in each day.

It's working. I finally broke that 245 lb barrier.

I know I said I wasn't going to fixate on the scale so much anymore, but good grief, this felt like it took for-freaking-EVERRR!

It is a significant "weigh point" for me, so I'm calling it a victory. :-D

Good for you Rick!! It’s not a bad thing at all that is seemed to take forever to lose some weight. This is not a diet, it is the way you will eat forever. There is no end date to this. And it’s so awesome because you will not only lose the excess weight, but you will regain your health. Just keep eating your spuds, they are so great aren’t they. :-D

You will find over time the on and offs become less frequent. Your taste buds adapt and the more you eat potatoes the more you actually crave them. Super weird how that works.
