I am scheduled to get the COVID booster this Friday, Oct. 1. I also signed up for the FLU shot which I have not taken since 2010. Is Dr. McDougall recommending the flu shot?

Since Dr. McDougall wrote this article, Cochrane has published updated studies:

Healthy adults: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29388196/

The elderly: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29388197/

I look at it this way: With the Covid requirements of cleaning, social distancing and mask wearing, I think there is probably very little flu risk this year.

Right from the horse's mouth, this globalist says flu vaccines of little value for the elderly.

On the other hand, Bill Gates donated $12 million in 2018 toward research for a universal flu vaccine. He remarks to make the current flu vaccine effective for elderly, you'd have to amp up the dosage -- with consequent nasty side effects on other age groups. If 1 in 10,000 vaccinated had bad side effect, that's 700,000 in the world. Hmmm, don't current covid vaccines have some very bad side effects in the 1 in 10,000 range?

No matter, I stopped flu vaccine over a decade ago, around same time frame at change to McD dietary approach. No flu's since (or before, for that matter). And now I added Zinc and Quercetin to supplements, so ought be even better protected against all viruses.

My Bro says to get HIGH dose flu shots for elderly. That would solve young vs old flu shot, and not over dosing young people.
