Leptomeningeal metastases

Hi everyone......I have a friend who was diagnosed with leptomeningeal metastases. She's had some treatments, but I don't know what they consisted of. I googled this cancer and the prognosis wasn't good. I also read that diet wouldn't cure it. I've followed Dr. McDougall for 30 years, so naturally I came here to find out if anything can be done. Any information would be gratefully accepted. TIA
