My daughter has just been diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis. I am wondering if anyone has heard of diet being helpful for this disease? Or if anyone has any knowledge about what does help. I have only just heard of it myself and started to try and see what it is. My daughter currently eats a standard North American Diet. She is in her 40s.

I am sorry to hear about your daughter's diagnosis .
I don’t have specific advice about her case but I have been a long term participant here and have read about many cases of reversal of auto immune diseases .
A whole plants only diet gives the body an opportunity to heal, which the body takes advantage of.
You will find many posts here in the archive . Also in dr mcdougall newsletters.
You will also find a lot of good info in dr Greger how not to die book which is excellent in providing references for further research
One thing though . To address autoimmune diseases you have to be 100% in adhering to whole plants
Hope this helps. Wishing your daughter a full and quick recovery
